Bredonborough.

Into the Cellar for morning reading…

12.14    And e-fury.

Worcester Life, a local mag, is interested in a feature on our garden. And a delivery of stuff from the Piddle. More stuff…

… whose firm with wife Karen, Total Solutions Group http://www.trussing.com/group-info-news.asp, was closely involved n the closing ceremony of the Olympics and the opening of the Paralympics; also involved in Soundforms (opens pdf)

Good tales of the events; plus stories of lies, deceit and nastiness in the world of property development.

A most enjoyable social lunching.

As we were ending our lunch, I saw the Minx opening the gates and driving off to her business meeting. I had anticipated doing the gates and giving her a kiss goodbye, but mis-calibrated by three minutes. This was a horrible reminder of the time when, in the middle of touring-touring c. 1990, we only had an hour or two together in Chelsea, London. T’s taxi didn’t know where they were going, and we missed on the street. Only a few minutes with T before I set off, once again.

What a way to spend a life: part of the price paid to be close to Music when it flies by.

17.32    Various stuff and organisings, onto the street, now in the Cellar with e-flurrying.

A major incoming-set of translated-into-Spanish documents for The Writing Project.

The gardeners are in, shaping the yew hedge by the back door…

The Minx’s massive jades, delivered from the Piddle earlier, are now in the greenhouse.

19.04    The Minx is home, a little wounded from her long meeting.

A walk down the garden, which is becoming more wonderful by the week.

20.23    Time to gentle.
